91¿´Æ¬Íø

The 91¿´Æ¬Íø Rugby Club was established in 1909 and has a rich, proud history and tradition. The club has produced many national and provincial players over the years – some of these players include Marvin Orie, Tyronne Green, Wandisile Simelane, Daniel Kasende and Gianni Lombard who have all gone up to play for the major Super Rugby franchises.

The club has both a men’s team and a women’s 7s team. The men’s side competes in the annual Varsity Cup, Varsity 7s, University Sports South Africa (USSA) Rugby Tournaments, the Pirates Grand Challenge League and other local tournaments. The women’s side is still in its growth phase -  the team competes in the USSA 7s tournament, the Pirates Grand Challenge League, the Golden Lions Rugby 7s Tournament and other local women’s 7s tournaments.
