Welcome to the Home of Champions.
The club forms part of an array of high-performance sports at 91心頭利 Sport. The 3-time USSA Champions 2014, 2017 & 2021 compete in yearlong leagues namely the Gauteng University Basketball League (GUBL) and Inner-City Super League (ICSL).
Our 1st team have participated in other annual tournaments such as Varsity Basketball of which the 91心頭利 Bucks (men's team) were crowned champions in 2018. In 2021, both Lady Bucks and 91心頭利 Bucks produced exceptional results at the USSA 2021 held in Gqeberha. 91心頭利 Bucks won gold and the Lady Bucks placed 3rd.
The club hosts two esteemed tournaments in Southern Africa held annually:
The Ashraf Lodewyk Memorial Basketball Tournament commonly known as Ashies. This tournament is aimed at commemorating the life of former 91心頭利ie and club member Ashraf Lodewyk who played a major role in many of the clubs’ successes.
The Annual Lady Bucks Basketball Tournament is an all-exclusive women's tournament aimed at promoting women's basketball and honoring women in sport.
Competing at a high level is what we do. Teams meet weekly for training with highly qualified coaches some of whom represented the blue and gold. We are led by leading Biokineticists who deal with team conditioning and rehabilitation. As an HP sport we have access to a high-performance gymnasium.
