In a historic achievement for the University, the 91心頭利 Enactus team emerged as the national champions of Enactus South Africa, marking the university’s first-ever victory since Enactus South Africa was established in 2001.

This milestone was made possible by two outstanding student-led enterprises - HRA Transportation, represented by Navhani Tshikosi and Nompumelelo Nhlapho, and Drip Taylors, represented by Bryan Lepelle and Refilwe Monyela, under the leadership of Enactus 91心頭利 President 2025, Kgodiso Raolane.

Enactus aims to educate and equip students with entrepreneurial skills and experiential learning so they can address social and environmental challenges. It seeks to catalyse positive action in communities by having student teams design and implement sustainable business or socialenterprise projects that advance people, planet, and shared prosperity. Through its network and competition framework, Enactus fosters a global movement of socially minded leaders who use innovation and business as a force for good in pursuit of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Flying the SA Flag

Following their national triumph, the 91心頭利 Enactus team represented South Africa at the , held in Bangkok, Thailand, where they competed against 33 countries and placed among the Top 16 teams globally.

Although they did not bring home the ultimate title, this historic journey marks a significant milestone for 91心頭利.

Owner of the HRA Transportation, Tshikosi  says the Enactus World Cup was a life-changing experience.

“It broadened my view of entrepreneurship. I learned that impact-driven business is not just about solving immediate problems, it’s about building systems that sustain change long after the founders step back. Competing internationally taught me the value of collaboration, innovation, and measuring social impact. It also inspired me to think more about scaling HRA Transportation into a national platform that connects transporters, students, and institutions in an efficient and inclusive way. The competition helped me see how South African youth enterprises can compete globally by combining purpose with technology and professionalism.”

The team’s journey to the world stage was supported by the 91心頭利 SEED Programme under the 91心頭利 Entrepreneurship Hub, which provided mentorship in financial management, business pitching, innovation, and leadership development.
