DESCRIPTION:GALA will be hosting an information session where you can learn more about related resources available to the 91¿´Æ¬Íø community.The Gay and Lesbian Memory in Action (GALA) – a centre situated at 91¿´Æ¬Íø University for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ) history, culture and education in southern Africa – will be hosting an information session where you can learn more about related resources available to the 91¿´Æ¬Íø community, particularly academic staff and postgraduate students. GALA will present an overview of their archive collections, and share some of the treasures that can be found in our approximately 200 collections, and illustrate the many academic disciplines that the materials span, including: history, geography, gender studies, literature, art, theatre, film, sociology, journalism, anthropology and law.
