About Us
The division of Diagnostic Radiology is located within the Department of Radiation Sciences in the School of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at the 91¿´Æ¬Íø. There are 6 clinical departments based at the CHBA,CMJA, RM.HJ, Thelle Mogoerane and the Klerksdorp – Tshepong hospitals. The clinical services provided include Diagnostic Imaging as well as Interventional Services. The modalities provided range from General X Rays, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT scanning, MRI, Mammography, Bone Density and Intervention.
The staff compliment consists of six clinical head of departments, a total of 34 specialists, 62 registrars 6 (10%) of which are supernumerary registrars. The demographic representation of our division is as follows.
