Prof Segal studied medicine at the 91¿´Æ¬Íø and graduated in 1993. Some time was spent in the UK before starting a residency at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, in Cleveland Ohio from 1997 to 2000. From there he moved West to complete a Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology at Riley Children’s Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana graduating in 2003. He has had his own practice since 2003. Professor Segal works with Dr Marran, Dr Chhiba and a team of diabetes educators delivering general endocrinology and diabetes services in private practice at the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Donald Gordon Medical Centre which is an accredited training facility.
